Vibrant red saga seeds have been encased in clear resin.

I have hand collected these red seeds of the Adenanthera Pavonina tree and have embedded them in clear resin to create this statement necklace. These seeds are also known as Red Lucky Seeds, Red Saga Seeds or Red Sandalwood Seeds.

A brass tube passes through the resin. The pendant is 4cm / 1.57 inches in diameter and is suspended from a 45cm / 17.7 inches raw brass oval link chain which fastens with a parrot clasp. The sides of the pendant have a frosted satin finish.

The brass chain will continue to oxidise to a lovely antique gold colour. Small imperfections and bubbles are part of the charm of handmade resin jewellery.
