This is a hand-built slab pot with a mouth carved into it. The mouth is stretched into a grotesque grimace by (ceramic) fish hooks, which wrap around the pot and connect on the opposite side. It’s inspired by the Chatterer Cenobite, one of the sadomasochistic angel-demons from Clive Barker’s classic horror film Hellraiser.
