My “Patina” series beads, pendants and charms are created with stoneware clay and my own handmade textures. They are shaped, left to dry out for a number of days, then smoothed and fired to bisque.

Once fired and cooled they’re coloured with non fire paints containing real metal particles which rust and patina when a patina solution is applied. They are then highlighted with metallic waxes, left to cure overnight, buffed and then sealed with several layers of matte sealant.
