This handcrafted elm wood wall hanging features the celestial faces of the sun and moon joined in the sky.

This wall or door hanger can accent any room in your home. A key hole hanger was carved into the back to allow the piece to rest flush against any flat surface on a nail or screw. The sides feature the natural bark of the elm.

The wood face was sanded by hand up to 600 grit to give it a silky smooth feel but it is otherwise untreated. The art was wood-burned by hand onto the surface of the piece. The dark wood burn contrasts very nicely with the bright elm wood.
