Created on a thick cardboard base with six hand cut layers from vintage magazine pages and a top layer cut from vintage sheet music, each one painted a different colour with watercolours. The base is covered front and back with vintage sheet music too.
Metal brads and wire antenna help to create the butterfly’s body and the twisted wire hanger allows you to hang it on the wall, from a doorknob or whatever place in your home needs brightening.

Measures approx; 17 cm ( 6 11/16″) wide x 10.5 cm ( 4 1/8″) high, 20.3 cm (8″) high including hanger.
Sealed with two coats of matte spray varnish.
