“A Brooklyn Memory”© is a graphite pencil drawing by award winning International artist, Arlene Wright-Correll on 8.75″ x 11” Bristol drawing paper. The artist says, “I can remember the streets of Brooklyn, NY very well and especially in the summer time when the Good Humor trucks came around selling ice cream for only 10 cents which to us kids at that time was a lot of money. We would scrounge up old bottles, newspapers and anything else worthy enough to take to sell to the “rag man” and then we would wait for the Good Humor man.”
