Colorful Glass Mosaic Picture Frame.

This colorful glass mosaic design is made on a recycled wooden picture frame. I used a variety of colorful blues, reds, and browns to create balance in this abstract design. Each glass piece is hand-cut and glued to a frame, grouted deep burgundy grout and sealed with grout sealer.

The edges and back of this frame are left original deep burgundy stain that has a smooth finish. The opening around the photo has a unique border that I sanded to expose the nice wood that this frame is made of, and then I applied a layer of clear lacquer to protect it.
