“Moonlight Bay” I knew when I found this shell, it was going to become a statement piece. Taking my inspiration from the colors in the shell itself, I created this dramatic necklace using mostly neutral colors. The beads can be more vibrant depending on the light it is viewed in (please see the pictures for examples.) The pendant measures 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches (6 x 6 cm). I use ultrasuade for my pendants (it’s an ecofriendly alternative to traditional leather) and each bead is sewn on, one at a time, to create this stunning pattern. Shades of beige, grey and black seed beads in various sizes are used to create the unique necklace. An antique silver toggle clasp completes the piece. Over 2000 beads were used to create this one of a kind necklace.
