Anticlastic aluminum massive cuff bracelet with a wave of inspiration on Handmade Artists’ Shop.

Featuring an inspirational quote from Louisa May Alcott, this anticlastic aluminum cuff bracelet was stamped one letter at a time in the shape of a rolling wave with “far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead.”

Cut as a flat 1.5 inch wide band from 18 gauge aluminum, the flat metal band pressed into hard neoprene with a convex steel die, to create the anticlastic shape, while forming the bracelet with a combination of pressure and working the metal with my hands. The ends were rounded and edges filed smooth by hand for a classy comfortable fit. Darkened with a black patina, the lettering in the Louisa May Alcott quote increases contrast and legibility against the soft silver metallic glow of natural brushed aluminum.

The cuff bracelet measuring 6 inches long by 1.5 inches wide, fit a medium sized wrist, is adjustable by bending and can also be ordered with a personalized fit in any size by noting your wrist circumference or bracelet size in the check out notes or Paypal notes.
