Bright red saga seeds have been encased in crystal clear resin.

I have hand collected these red seeds of the Adenanthera Pavonina tree and have embedded them in clear resin to create this statement necklace. These seeds are also known as Red Lucky Seeds, Red Saga Seeds or Red Sandalwood Seeds.

A brass tube passes through the resin. The pendant is 5cm / 1.96 inches wide and 3cm / 1.18 inches high. It is suspended from a 45cm / 17.7 inches raw brass oval link chain which fastens with a parrot clasp.

The brass chain will continue to oxidise to a lovely antique gold colour. Small imperfections and bubbles are part of the charm of handmade resin jewellery.
