This Batik New York Beauty quilt top is ready to quilt. It’s 48″ square, a good size for a wall hanging or studio quilt. It’s machine pieced in batik fabrics, in blues, oranges, reds, and greens. The center focal point is a New York Beauty Block, with one plain green ring, a ring of blue flying geese, and a ring of dark brown New York Beauty spires. There are New York Beauty with Flying Geese rings in blue and green in the corners, and they have “rainbow” rings setting them off. There are also New York Beauties along the sides, in red and orange. The background is a turquoise blue batik. I like the borderless look, so I did not add a border to this piece.
