This beautiful block quilt was created using two different fabric lines. The first fabric is from Moda called Atelier. It was inspired by a vintage book of French textiles. Vintage chic, country sophistication and an appreciation for the simple elegance of life are just a few of the stylistic threads that are woven into their designs. The widespread popularity of this dynamic trio can be attributed to their keen eye for rich yet subtle color choices and a gentle finesse of both scale and pattern.
The second collection of fabrics is French Generals by Moda. The fabric collections represent colors that could have been found in 18th century rural homes in France. Different textures and prints are meant to blend together for projects that are both beautiful and functional. Filled with soft faded reds, many varieties of floral designs, the fabrics are made to be used for heirloom quilts as well as home interiors.

The quilt is a traditional block style quilt with all over meandering quilting in a cream colored thread.

The backing fabric is a solid beige fabric. The binding is the same solid beige fabric as the back.

The batting is 100% polyester.
