I created this necklace for my fiance’ Angela for christmas 2012. The chain maille is a deviation from the byzantine half crown pattern. The links are sterling silver. The large beads are Fancy Jasper, the little ones are hematite. The pendant was handcrafted by Sydney on Tophatter. It is a silver plated Unakite Jasper. This piece is gorgeous and really stands out in semi-lit conditions. Although I will never make this exact necklace again I am willing to come very close with a custom request. I hope you enjoyed viewing it as much as I enjoyed making it 🙂
About ruralalaskanjewelry
My name is Rob and I am a tour guide from Ketchikan, AK. I like doing tours but it is not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I discovered the art of chain maille through my fiance' and I have not looked back. It inspired a passion that I did not know I possessed. I love how the pieces turn out and I actually love the process. I plan on continuing my tours through this next season while I will be promoting my products and getting my name out there. It is my hope to retire from tours and do jewelry on a year round basis. Only time will tell. :) View all posts by ruralalaskanjewelry
