About La Petite Maison Bijoux

I moved to Auvergne, France with my husband David in September 2012. The Little House, or La Petite Maison, used to belong to a painter, and as the name suggests, it is tiny. We live in a larger building that was originally the artist’s studio, and I now use The Little House as my workshop. It is also home to our cats, Jess and Sophie. I learned the basics of jewellery making at Leeds College of Art. It used to be a hobby, but I’ve had much more time and space to devote to it since moving here. The Haute-Loire area of Auvergne is a little known, but very beautiful part of France, and its varied landscapes, plants and animals provide endless inspiration for my designs.
