February 2011, I had just turned 58 years old when I started my creative journey. All I knew is that there was a creative spirit in me wanting to come out to play. I had no idea which direction to go yet I was committed to put one foot in front of the other and keep on moving forward, knowing that eventually I would find my way. Along the way, on my creative path, I am being guided in directions I should go. Sometimes I listen and follow, other times I allow fear to hold me back. Once I realize that fear has me in it's grip I push thru to the other side. Until August 2011 I didn't even realize that I could draw nor paint. Now I firmly believe it is my God given talent and I am determined to keep following where it leads. I've heard it said, "magical things can happen when we let our creative spirit out to play". Now I understand! I am learning so much about myself and I am eager to learn more. I consider myself to be a creative Late Bloomer. I know that I am not unique and that there are many more out there.
