I created this necklace last year and shared it on a few forums then was honored to be contacted by the editors of WireWork magazine asking if I could write an article explaining how to make it. The article is in the Spring 2013 issue (see last photo), and I can now offer the necklace up for sale.
It is a stylized Egyptian lotus made from Turquoise, Lapis, and Carnelian. The gold beads are vermeil and the wiring and chain are brass.
The pendant is about 3½ inches from top to bottom and the necklace chain is 18 inches.
