Cozy Fairy Cottage

This adorbale fairy cottage is so cozy, fairies will not be able to resist the urge to reside here! Standing 5 inches wide, by 6 inches tall, this sweet little cottage is the perfect size for any fairy garden.  Small pebbles and green moss cover all four sides of this solid wood fairy dwelling. The roof is made from cedar moss, and lined in the front with hand cut maple twigs, to create beauty, contrast, and texture. The door is made of hand picked, hand applied dried Eucalyptus leaves, which creates even more charm, given the leaves heart shaped appearance. The door is framed in twigs, and a small pebble creates the perfect doorknob to this humble fairy abode. This piece has four windows…one on each side.  The front window is stunning, as the handmade shutters, made from handcut twigs, give this piece even more character!.  All four windows are made from hand cut stained glass and framed in hand cut twigs.  All of the stained glass for my pieces are from the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Shop, the oldest in the United States. You cannot find this glass anywhere else in the world!  These windows are all a soft cream color, creating a perfect soft, warm glow, when this cozy little cottage is lit.  This piece does come with your choice of a battery operated LED tealight, or a corded light with a switch and a 6 foot cord.  I have recently added the option to choose the battery operated LED lights, which provide a much softer, subtle glow, and with no cord to fuss with, they are ideal for fairy gardens!  The Cozy Fairy Cottage is full of charm and detail, and is a must have for any fairy garden!  All materials used in my pieces are recycled and eco friendly.
