Where I live in the Berkshire hills each season has distinct and striking colors. In fact, although I’ve spent most of my life migrating around the globe, I’ve never lived anywhere with such a well-defined four season cycle. I created this scarf in early leafy green summer, but the slow brilliant decay of autumn was what I imagined.
This is a wide, long scarf, almost a shawl but not quite. The dimensions are 200cm x 30 cm (79” x 12”). If you are looking for a large beautiful wool scarf, you will likely love this unique garment. If you are looking for a scarf of more conventional dimensions, you might find this one too large. Still, it can indeed be worn as a traditional scarf, as shown in the photos. It can also be worn like a wrap.
