Solina the Sun Goddess Mosaic

Solina started life as a piece of wood cut out for me by ZZ Bob and dived right into my jewelry box to brighten herself up. Her pretty face I created out of clay. Her “rays” are beautiful bright glass that will glow in or out of the sunlight. The jewelry is “grouted” with glass seed beads. As we all have our dark side, so does Solina…a combination of handcrafted tile pieces, jewelry and glass beads.
Solina is 10.5″ in diameter and hanging is 24″ long with the heavy duty copper chain attached to a piece of bejeweled, wire wrapped amber. She is suitable for outdoor use in a protected area. The entire piece has several coats of heavy duty acrylic gloss varnish.
