I started making my own natural skincare for personal use several years ago after I realized how harmful the products I was using were. Not only were they harmful, they were also counterproductive. Many of the ingredients in our skin care products are more harmful than they are helpful. Roughly 1 in 8 of the ingredients in these products are industrial grade chemicals, carcinogens, pesticides, and toxins that damage us reproductively, cause further skin issues and chemicals that disrupt our hormones. They can contain plasticizers, chemicals that make a product flexible and keep it soft. These cheap, synthetic substitutes are very toxic to our bodies and harmful for our environment. In addition to that (as if that wasn’t enough), companies make HUGE amounts of money by loading products with these cheap, synthetic and toxic fillers. ALL of my products are handcrafted using high quality, healthy and natural ingredients.
