This hat was designed for those who prefer knitting flat to knitting in round (like myself). And the nature of the pattern allows for a very invisible seam.
This hat is both cozy knit and a fashion statement – for babies, kids and adults. Name comes from both of the nature of pattern (cables are moving like snakes) and our first daughter was born in the year of Snake by Chinese Calendar.
Pattern for sizes to fit: 6-12 months, 12-24 months, child & adult (medium), written with negative ease of about 2-2.3 inches (5cm) in mind.
Skills required: knit, purl, CO, basic cable, knit 2 together, knit 3 together, purl 2 together.
