Mosaic artwork featuring two falling leaves. One is an oak leaf and the other a maple leaf.
For the border I used 3/8″ mosaic tiles in “fawn.” The background is handcut mosaic tiles in “cornsilk.” For the stems I used a dark brown glass tile and for the leaves I used deep red and orange vitreous tiles.
This piece measures 11 inches x 6 inches x 1/2 inch and was created on wedi board. It was grouted in off white, and has been sealed twice. It can be displayed horizontally or vertically. The sides and back have been painted “cornsilk” to match the background tiles.
